I was born in Moscow in 1987 and began my academic adventure at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. There I specialized in theoretical and experimental physics. After four intensive semesters, however, I felt that my true passion lay elsewhere. I decided to change my subject and moved to Germany to study business mathematics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. This decision turned out to be the right one and I was able to graduate in 2021 with a grade of “good”. During my studies, I discovered my passion for teaching by giving private tutoring on an irregular basis. These experiences developed my teaching skills and sharpened my deep understanding of how to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand lessons. The more I dedicated myself to teaching, the stronger my commitment to it became. Finally, in 2021, I made the decision to turn my passion into a career. Hi, I'm Berat from Turkey. I am a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I have always considered myself a successful student and have decided to share my knowledge and learning strategies with other students. A brief introduction to my education history: I attended high school at one of the most prestigious schools in my country, Terakki Foundation Schools. I was an IB student and achieved my diploma with 43 points out of 45. Currently, I am studying at PolyU on a presidential scholarship. I am also part of the PolyU e-Formula team as a powertrain engineer. Although my focus is on mathematics, I can also provide tutoring in physics and SolidWorks, as I am very capable in these subjects as well. I am fluent in English with an IELTS score of 7.5, so communication should not be an issue.
