Many of my students have gone on to study Maths at a higher level, or used their qualification to support their employment or further studies. I have also work as an examiner marker at IGCSE so understand the exam paper.

Hello, this is Rittu Paul from India. Professionally, I am an engineer and an MBA professional. Currently, I am working in Singapore in a field that requires a lot of mathematical applications. I used to teach mathematics as a home tutor for 5 years when I was in India. It has always been an enjoyable experience for me when it comes to teaching mathematics. I have a strong command of mathematics and used to teach all grades of high school and higher secondary subjects, with a special interest in Probability. A few of the simple teaching techniques that I use include: 1. Teaching by using worked examples. 2. Creating colorful posters to summarize each section covered, which includes ALL formulas. 3. Administering mock tests at the end of each section. 4. Allowing students to complete 10-minute mini tests at the end of every lesson, focusing on the material learned during that particular lesson. 5. Going through past papers set by the Department of Education as a final revision before assessments.

I provided academic assistance to students of all grades to develop strong literacy, numeracy, and social skills. I used personalized learning plans to guide students towards a deeper understanding of course materials and learning patterns in an interactive environment. Additionally, I tracked the learning progress of each individual to enhance their academic abilities. Overall, I tutored over 30 students of all grades and subjects to help them achieve their desired goals.
