My background is originally in visual arts. I previously worked as the editor for a fashion photography magazine for 2 years before I decided to be a freelance photographer. I've had 3 exhibitions and currently teach classes and host photography events/workshops in the Bangkok area. I specialise in portrait photography in a studio environment and have worked with brands and venues in Bangkok including Iron Fairies, Westin Grand, W Bangkok and many others. I come from a family of educators and given lectures and classes in my native country. Having spent most of my life abroad in USA and England, I would consider English my primary language.

I am Sam, a photographer in Northamptonshire. I teach photography workshops and one-on-one photography tutorials to share my love for photography. With 13 years of teaching and education experience, I started 'Welly Pictures' to improve my teaching skills. I focus on theory and practical learning to help people enhance their photography skills. I teach in and around the Northamptonshire area. I cover the basics and also provide tips for more advanced techniques. Additionally, I offer personalized teaching sessions where I will personally guide you and provide you with handouts for future reference. I will demonstrate the techniques you want to learn and teach you how to use your camera or phone, based on thorough research. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

I am an experienced photographer and filmmaker who has worked with Time Magazine, HBO, and many other organizations. As an educator, I have taught one-on-one workshops and classes at universities and even at The United Nations. In addition, I am fluent in English, French, and I also have a good command of Thai.

As a creative in photography, design anf writing. Photography is a passion that comes from the heart, I can spend hours with a camera. As a photography manager, I am used to train all nationalities to become as best as they could in their field and financially improve themselves.

I am a second-year student at the Tshwane University of Technology studying Commercial Photography. I am passionate about photography because it captures moments and memories that never seem to dissipate. I started photography as a hobby after my father bought me a camera as a birthday gift, ever since then I never put it down. I am looking forward to passing on the knowledge to the next person who is willing to acquire the skillset.
