As a private tutor with three years of experience, I have an excellent understanding of what students need to prepare for their public exams and for their university studies. I have been tutoring for three years, and I enjoy the one-on-one approach that allows me to closely monitor a student's progress, whether it is in-person or online. I am able to tailor my practice to each individual student. Last year, one of my students requested tutoring after receiving an E in IGCSE Maths, but this year they managed to achieve an A. I graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a 2.1 in Chemical Engineering. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I received academic scholarships for three out of the four years. Currently, I am a student at the University of Manchester, studying Nuclear Physics and Technology. I struggled with studying from the beginning. During my junior high school years, I was a probationary student, achieving the lowest grades possible. However, one day, a peer gave me a speech and taught me some skills that completely changed my attitude towards studying. From that point onwards, I have received academic scholarships almost every year. While having study skills is important, I believe having the correct mindset is even more crucial, as many students these days do not truly understand why they are studying. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and filming YouTube videos.

I am a postgraduate at the University of Kwazulu Natal in Durban. I have my BSc in Pure and Applied Physics, Honours in Theoretical Physics, Masters in Space Physics where I studied using signals in the ionosphere to predict imminent large-scale earthquakes, and I have just handed in my Ph.D. in microseismology. I have relocated to Cape Town now. I have been lecturing since 2016 at all levels, from undergraduate physics students to life science students and engineering classes. I am passionate about sports, including soccer, tennis, cricket, the Olympics, and E-sports.

I finished my bachelor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with GPA 9.59/10 without a lot of hard work and I am currently on my last year of my Master's in theoretical physics. I was always keen on teaching and mentoring others, starting from my classmates in school, my colleagues in university and young students after my graduation.

What makes me a perfect teacher is that I have the ability to explain and demonstrate concepts in a variety of ways to suit different learners and learning styles. I am also able to assess students in a manner that allows me to identify their academic difficulties even if they are unable to articulate them. Furthermore, I engage students in productive academic discussions to enhance their understanding of the lesson. Since starting my career in tutoring, I have observed significant improvements in my students' grades.

Hi there, I am a physics graduate with first-class honours from Imperial College, currently studying medicine at the University of Hong Kong. I have personally gone through the entire British curriculum, including GCSEs and A-levels, and I am very familiar with the topics. Over the years, I have become very passionate about the subject and have developed my own interpretations and tips in physics that I would like to share with my students. I hope to teach for understanding, as I believe it is the most important factor for excelling in this subject.
