Hello! I'm Pat, a current Astronomy MSc student at Leiden University. I received my BS in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Washington in 2023 and have been tutoring online ever since. I thoroughly enjoy helping students succeed in what are often viewed as unnecessarily difficult introductory physics courses. Through personal experience and feedback from students, these classes are not typically taught in the most effective way. I hope to help you understand the material through an example-driven approach instead of the typical lecture style you may see in your class. I also have experience helping students with upper-level physics and astronomy classes such as classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and special and general relativity. I'm an astrophysicist by vocation, but currently, I work as a full-time software architect and a part-time STEM tutor.
