Hello. I am Teacher Caryl. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Biological Science, and I am now a science teacher with 6 years of experience. Currently, I am a science and English teacher in one of the schools here in Bangkok. I am a unique teacher who wants to help young learners understand science easily and apply it in their daily lives. I have always wanted to help the younger generation learn science in an enjoyable and fun way without pressuring themselves.

I have over 5 years experience as a Science (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) tutor in the UK and 2 years experience working in Hong Kong. I work from students aged 9- 18 years old. I have a range of experience working with learning disabilities from dyslexia, adhd and autism. I always ensure to tailor my approach to the needs of the student. My main responsibilities have been to prepare students for entry into international schools or UK/US boarding schools. All of my students so far have landed their school of choice, ranging from Eton, Sevenoaks and CLC! If I am not preparing students for exams like GCSEs, A Levels and IB - I provide academic support. As a postgraduate from King's college London, and a researcher who has had the opportunity to work with leading scientists from UCL and KCL. I not only bring to you the science curriculum, but also provide you with the latest scientific insights. This is to build your critical thinking, as well as your understanding.

For as long as I can remember I knew I wanted to teach and help others understand our world a little bit better. I have a BA in Education and have taught middle level Science, Reading, and English; I also have experience teaching 4 year olds in a Head Start setting and have two children of my own. I know how precious our youth is and am honored to work with future generations of great thinkers. My teaching philosophy holds that personal connections with subjects through inquisitive, engaging lessons nurtures the special gifts and unique capabilities that each individual possesses.
