Blessed day. I am Mr. Joemer L. Castillo, a former faculty member of a university in the Philippines. I have been teaching and tutoring programming subjects for almost 5 years including physical and distance learning. I am an international programming tutor with students from the USA and Europe. I am passionate about teaching and wanting the best for my students. With my experience as a faculty, I had seen a lot of students developed a great understanding of programming and be able to apply it when developing their own programs and their implications to our daily lives. I explain the code step by step so that the students can easily grasp how a particular program runs and be able to tap their critical thinking skills by giving exercises. My teaching methodology is to first grasp the knowledge that the student has about the topic by asking questions and observation during the class. After that, I will already proceed with teaching and give some exercises so that they will apply what they have learned.
