Hello! I'm Anna, an English tutor born and raised in the United States and living in France. I am passionate about languages and their ability to open the world to us! I have worked in a varoety of multicultural and multilingual environments, including a news office in Morocco and a university setting in South Korea. My English tutoring experience ranges from working with primary school age (around eight years old) to adults. I enjoy utilizing practical methods in my teaching: reading poems or book excerpts, listening to English-language music, looking into the news, or talking about popular television shows and movies. As someone currently learning a language myself, I understand firsthand the value of practical language teaching. I prefer utilizing methods that highlight the everyday needs of a language, such as listening together to a radio segment or song, reading news excerpts or book passages, or working together to understand a movie scene. I especially like to encourage speaking because this is one of the most difficult aspects of a langauge to practice without a tutor. I'm patient, friendly, and fun! اقرأ أقل
