My name is Lucian, I am a half Chinese half English ex-pat.
I speak English as my first language and achieved two A*'s for English GCSEs.
I previously tutored mathematics for multiple classes, often those who struggled with understanding complex problems.
English is an important language for any young learner, especially given the international nature of Hong Kong.
I am 18 and plan to study Politics at University next year.
I am friendly and hospitable with all ages or skill levels.
As an 18 year old, I find it easier to relate to students than an older tutor might, whilst being able to provide a comprehensive understanding of English.

I find the easiest way to learn English is through regularly learning and repeating new, useful phrases that the student could use in conversation, both formal and informally. This will allow the student to practice English in a variety of situations and environments. I often struggled with learning new modern languages in my school curriculum as what was taught was near-unusable in conversation, whereas learning languages in an accurate but relaxed manner was much more effective.
