Hello, my name is Amrin. Currently, I teach phonics, reading and oral communication to students aged 3-12 at a well-known learning center in HK. I am a post graduate from HKU in Medical Science and an ex-flight attendant with Cathay Pacific Airways.

While working with Cathay Pacific Airways, I had the privilege of attending workshops designed for trainers where I became aquatinted with essential training skills. I also conducted mock interviews for secondary school students. The purpose of this was to train them on using concise and effective language during formal interviews.

I have also been a student tutor at The University of Hong Kong, facilitating group discussions and conducting one-on-one classes for participants from varied educational backgrounds that included doctors and PhD students.

I truly enjoying training and am happy to work with children and adults. Teaching one-on-one helps me tailor it to the students needs. I believe a minimum of two consecutive classes is most useful so we can gauge the areas of focus needed in the first, build a relationship and work on them from the second. I also see huge benefits in group training as I encourage every participant to express their views and nurture their confidence in doing so.

My experience lies in tutoring phonics to young learners (3-5years), oral communication, simple conversational English, preparation for interviews, spelling, reading and pronunciation. All other English classes - I discuss options with the student for a weekly/monthly topic. I plan exercises around the topic that involves listening, speaking, reading and comprehension. اقرأ أقل
