Hi everyone! My name is Guy, I am a 33 year old teacher of English language, originally from Cambridge in the United Kingdom. I have a lived here in beautiful Thailand for the last 12 years of my life and am married to a Thai lady, with two leuk-kreung children. I speak Thai to a decent intermediate level and found this to be an advantage when teaching younger/lower level students. I have a wealth of experience teaching children from 5 years old - all the way up to adults, both in Business English and corporate classes, as well as undergraduate and post graduae university students and high school pupils.

I always take the effort to make my classes as fun and relaxed as possible, as this is the best way to learn a new language - if the student can enjoy themselves, then, in my experience, they will learn faster and achieve more.
Having studied to gain my CELTA TEFL qualification here at International House, Bangkok, in 2011, I have had a good base from which to start my teaching career on. My experience at this point, 11 years later, is numerous and well rounded.

I have experience in teaching exam/test prep, Business English, Vocab classes and corporate materials as well as standard ESL lessons. I would really love to work with you or your child, to help you achieve your English language goals.

A good teacher should be observant, patient and compassionate, with the ability to imbue their students with a certain respect and appreciation for both the material(s) and the process. I'm not a taskmaster, I prefer the more casual and joyful approach to learning; learning should be gratifying and enjoyable, it is itself a reward, not only the achievements realised by doing it. I guess what I'm trying to say is - I like my students to enjoy themselves whilst learning with me, that's important! اقرأ أقل
