I have worked for over 25 years as a professional trainer, conducting leadership, English language, and business writing courses, and providing executive coaching and leadership development consulting. I am now semi-retired and would like to focus on teaching and tutoring, which I have always found to be the most satisfying aspect of my work.

With any language, knowing the theory and grammar rules is not enough. The knowledge needs to transfer to behavior. As a professional trainer, I have the experience and know-how to tailor the learning steps, methods of practice, and application to each individual client’s learning style. I am skilled at ensuring that there is demonstrable improvement in each client’s speaking and writing ability.

My teaching approach involves a combination of experiential practice and easy-to-grasp frameworks that I design to suit your learning style. This approach helps you to remember and successfully apply English grammar rules in practical real-life situations, both in written and spoken contexts.

I have a long track record of working with organizations in the private and public sectors. I have collaborated with clients one-on-one and in groups from organizations such as Google, Sumitomo, Thales Aerospace, Sanofi, Hitachi Metals, Norske Hydro, DBS, MOE, CPF, MAS, and MFA. I have experience in providing one-on-one English language tutoring and business writing tutoring to Singaporean clients who wish to sound more professional, as well as expat clients from Japan, Korea, China, France, Norway, Lithuania, Thailand, and Vietnam.
