Hello everyone!

My name is Shane Timothy O'Neill, and I'm a native English speaker from Ireland currently residing in Saphan Kwai, Bangkok.

I'm an extroverted person who loves to meet new people and experience new cultures. This is why I moved to Thailand initially and why I am passionate about helping locals improve their English.

My motivation for teaching English comes from the immense sense of satisfaction I get from watching students develop each and every day. It truly is a rewarding job! Outside of teaching, I'm a keen sportsman who enjoys football, boxing, MMA, and rugby.

My teaching style is based around creating a comfortable learning experience for the student because I am fully aware of how scary it can be learning a foreign language. I believe students learn best when learning is fun!! I have experience teaching phonics, book work, and reading, but my biggest strength is conversation teaching because of my relaxed manner and approachable style.

We can engage in simple free talk to grow your confidence in conversation, or dive into a specific article or topic which you are interested in. I like to leave the option open to my student as this will allow them to enter the lesson at ease, and freely express themselves throughout. اقرأ أقل
