Hello there this is Paige! I am a native English speaking tutor born in Hong Kong. I used to study linguistics at my university and I'm very familiar with local English exams. I also have native proficiency in Cantonese and speak fluent Mandarin, this all gives me an edge in understanding obstacles that local students generally face, especially those struggling to acquire a second language. (I also have experience in tutoring SEN students.) Literature is also one of my passions, and I'm quite the expert in hunting down just the right material to pique my students' interests. I provide tailor-made lessons for each student, lively enough to help generate results and at the same time cultivate passion towards this beautiful language. I always believe pure efforts will be found only where curiosity lies. And with the help of my expertise, children (and adults) will be able to tap into their true potential with ease!

I have 3 years of experiences working in private tuition class, and I am especially good at teaching oral English, reading comprehension, expanding vocabulary and prepping them for interviews. I am most confident in mapping out a student's strengths and weaknesses and I will teach them how to utilise each of them in order to help them grow as an individual learner.
