I am a British-born Chinese tutor. I have completed my ACA (HKCPA equivalent) in the UK and graduated from the University of Exeter, where I studied Economics and Finance. During my time at Exeter, I participated in the study abroad program, which led me to the University of Hong Kong. Additionally, I have successfully passed level 1 of the CFA examinations. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I previously worked with CIS, tutoring young adults (16-18 year olds) to prepare them for their GCSE and A-level exams in economics, maths, and business studies. Moreover, I have worked with young children, helping them develop their English language skills. I have also volunteered in both India and China, assisting children in improving and expanding their English vocabulary. My approach will depend on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible.
