Hi. My name is Thokozani Nzimakwe from KZN and currently, reside in Cape Town in Khayelitsha. I am 29 years old, making me a fresh and vibrant teacher. I studied for my Applied Maths degree in Cape Town majoring in Applied Sciences and Statistics.

I am a qualified Maths and Science teacher by profession started in 2017. I am currently teaching in Maths and Natural Sciences in High school and have a lot of tutoring experience now and during my varsity years. I have 2 years teaching experience and have managed to increase the number of learners doing pure Maths in my school; which was an achievement for me and my school.

I love teaching and tutoring as it allows me to further explain the content in a practical way. For the first time in 2018 Grade, 10 Maths average was high and the whole school congratulated me. I am also very proud of the contribution I made in tutoring UWC statistic students in 2018 first semester, the feedback and outcome humble me. I use Modelling Instruction teaching method(classroom where learners are not spectators). Learners do most of the work in this method and I guide them to the correct knowledge.

Question and Answer: I love and enjoy this method as it allows learners to ask some questions as he/she solves the problem. Questions can come to the whole class and be discussed.
