Hello, everyone. My name is Poornima Ramesh Iyer, and currently, I am pursuing my PhD at Mahidol University. If I were to describe myself, I would call myself a "nomadic" scientist. I completed my Cambridge IGCSEs and A-levels, focusing on the Sciences and Mathematics, in Thailand. I then went on to study my Bachelor's in China, my Master's in Singapore, and now I am back in Thailand doing my PhD. During my school days, I struggled with my studies, and I would not have performed well in my exams without the help of various tutors. In addition to helping me understand the subjects, they made the learning experience fun and interesting. My experiences have inspired me to gather knowledge and skills that would allow me to teach in the future and inspire students to pursue the sciences, like my tutors and teachers did for me. I have gained knowledge and am now looking for opportunities to improve my teaching skills. I have done some part-time tutoring in China and Singapore and would like to continue that in Thailand. If you are looking for a tutor, I am available to assist with the Sciences and Mathematics for the IGCSE and A-level exams.

I would ask the areas that the students are struggling with and ask for the syllabus. Since the tutoring would be for a limited period, by knowing what has to be covered, I can prepare a succint teaching plan. Whilst tutoring, I can combine teaching the subject with videos for a deeper learning and better understanding of a subject. I will also provide assignments in the form of exam papers, so that students can see what the examiners are looking for and where the students have to improve on. اقرأ أقل
