Hello! My names Millie Henson and I am a 21-year-old History tutor from Derbyshire with a first class degree in History. I have plenty of handy tips for helping you achieve high marks at school or university.
I know the exam system can seem very intimidating if like me you're not naturally academic, but that's when putting in a little extra work goes a long way. In our first free lesson I will ask you to go through what topic (focus/location/time period) you require tutoring for and what you're struggling with. This could be comprehension, essay technique or even exam stress. From the first lesson, I'll come up with a plan to help you overcome these obstacles and do the very best you can. I will take into account how many lessons you're interested in so it's all very flexible. Everyone needs help sometimes, and the fact that you're looking for tutors shows you're motivated.

Lesson 1 (Free): This time will be spent going through the topic you're studying (Focus/location/time period) and what you require help with.
Following this, I will make a plan depending on the number of lessons you want, whether it's 3 hours or 30.
If you are struggling with comprehension I will research the topic and do my best to explain it. If it's a question of revision, I know lots of tricks to help you memorise facts and dates.
