Grew up in San Antonio, TX, hated school and only did the bare mininum to make ok grades. Graduated and went to the University of Houston for Accounting and almost failed out my first year because I didn't havethe mindsent of a learner.

Thankfully I got it together with the help of others and really digging in and figuring it out. Now I work as a teacher to help students who were like me, who don't know how to study yet or don't have the mindset of success and help them maximize their natural greatness! اقرأ أقل

My goal is to fill in the learning gaps but mostly encourage students to pull from inwardly the knowledge and tools they've learned over the years to solve problems.

Instead I question my students thinking process and strategies. I make my students show their work or if they use a calculator write out their steps. I've seen great success with this strategy in Math! اقرأ أقل
