Jane is a former Assistant Principal and Director of English, but first and foremost, she is a teacher of English. With over 18 years of teaching experience, including 9 years as an examiner for all major exam boards in the UK and internationally, she has a proven track record of outstanding results at GCSE, iGCSE, and A Level English Language and English Literature. She has consistently been judged as outstanding by external agencies at all Key Stages. The high quality of her teaching and leadership led to her being awarded SLE status, which required her to coach other leaders and act as a consultant to raise standards in challenging schools. As a result of her involvement in Ofsted's 'Excellence in English' case study, she was invited by SSAT to be a speaker at a national conference.

Her role as an examiner for all of the major exam boards, both in the UK and internationally, has enabled her to deliver high-quality learning opportunities that result in excellent outcomes for students of all abilities.

Additionally, she has experience in supporting students with entrance exams for the top Independent Schools in both the UK and the USA. She has proven success in the Winchester, Sevenoaks, Groton, and Andover admission assessments.
