Hi,

I am a Canadian Native English Tutor based in Tai Po, with over 8 years of experience in teaching English to Kindergarten and Primary students.

I have taught Jolly Phonics, Oral English, reading (using the Oxford Learning Tree series), creative writing, comprehension, grammar, and interview preparation for secondary school at two separate learning centers in Tai Po and Shatin. Additionally, I have taught several one-on-one classes.

Having lived in Hong Kong for 15 years, I am aware of many common Hong Kong English mistakes. If you are looking to reach the level of a native speaker, I can help you achieve your goal.

I hold a BA with an emphasis on English literature from Acadia University, as well as a TEFL certificate.

I am passionate about assisting students at any level in increasing their fluency, accuracy, and comfort with the English language. I believe that learning should be fun and interactive, which is why I incorporate stories, games, realia, and other enjoyable activities to reinforce learning with young learners.
