It is so important to understand that every student learns differently and uniquely. I am patient with my students and ensure that they understand every step by engaging them in the problem solving process. I may teach a lesson, do a couple problems together, and then have them do one on their own to make sure that they understand. I am always open to questions and encourage students to ask them.
