So, AAT has been my life over the last few years - I wouldn't have it any other way, nor would I let anybody tell me otherwise. Accounting makes the world go round and I think it is something of great interest that we should all take an active interest in.

I have first-hand experience of working in a very busy accounts department in the legal sector as well as having acted as treasurer and bookkeeper for a couple of differing charities now. Due to this, each accounting aspect that I cover with you I will always provide real life scenarios giving you context enabling you to understand further.

I have been teaching accounting now (AAT) for just over a year. With all first time passes myself I fully understand what the AAT are looking for when it comes to exam style questions and I will always work with you to enable that you can get the most out of your qualification. All lessons will be tailor-delivered to suit your needs.

It has been a true honour to help others along their accounting journey and I would love to help you also become the accountant that you want to be, whilst also assisting you in gaining a very well sought after qualification.

I offer my sessions remotely so there is no need for anyone to stress about having a meeting point as it can all be done online.

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

1 year experience of online teaching. Preferred method would be via Whatsapp initially, then for teaching purposes I then move across to Skype.

Q: How do you ensure that students understand the accounting concepts and principles they are learning, and how do you reinforce that knowledge?

I recap everything we have gone over until I feel the student is comfortable. I constantly reiterate and ask my students if they have any questions as I know it can be daunting to ask such things.

Q: How do you help students prepare for accounting exams or standardized tests?

I always provide questions for my students to try and have a go at answering. I will always go through any questions I have set or what they may have.

Q: Do you offer any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

Yes, wherever possible I will provide additional questions for further practice

Q: How do you help students prepare for accounting exams or coursework, and what strategies do you use to build their confidence in their accounting abilities?

Further question practice is essential for confidence building as well as being able to communicate topics and theories back to me.
