Greetings. I am Christina and I would love to have the opportunity to aid your children on their journey to excel and achieve better performances in English grammar, writing, reading, and most importantly, speaking. I am a University student at HKU and have been educated in an English environment since kindergarten. I have received an A in IGCSE world literature, an A in English as a second language, a B in English as a first language, and a total score of 8.0 for IELTS. I understand the struggles students go through when studying. Moreover, I studied in a local school for two years during my high school education, so I understand that the teaching style in Hong Kong can be very mundane. Therefore, my aim is for my students to discover an interest in reading and develop a liking for the subject of English in general. First, I will ask my students to write an essay and conduct a speaking test to assess their English proficiency level. Then, according to the weaknesses identified, I will tailor-made classes to improve their skills and strengthen their understanding. I will use different motivation methods to encourage them to develop an interest in the learning materials, such as interactive games and positive reinforcement.
