I have a solid foundation in chemistry principles and practice. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of chemistry at various levels, from introductory courses to advanced topics in organic synthesis.
As an undergraduate, I served as a chemistry teaching assistant, where I gained valuable experience in explaining complex concepts to students, leading problem-solving sessions, and providing one-on-one support. This role honed my ability to break down difficult topics into manageable parts and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs.
During my Master's program, I further developed my teaching skills as an undergraduate laboratory demonstrator. In this capacity, I guided students through practical experiments, ensuring they understood the theoretical principles behind their work and adhered to safety protocols. This experience enhanced my ability to create a safe and engaging learning environment while fostering students' curiosity and critical thinking skills.
Additionally, I served as a tutor for a bridging course. This role was particularly rewarding as it allowed me to work with students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom were entering university with varying levels of preparedness in chemistry.
