Hello! I was born and raised in the Midwest United States. I lived in Prague for 9 years, where I taught English privately to children and adults for 4 years. I also taught at a private Grade School and Kindergarten for 9 years. During my time there, I taught conversational English, helped adults pass English certificate tests, taught business vocabulary, and taught grammar to adults. I am comfortable and experienced in teaching kids of all ages as well as adults. I am university educated and have a TEFL certificate.

I am married to a German, and we have a 2-year-old boy. My wife is about to give birth to a little girl. We recently moved back to Europe after living in the US for the last 3 years. We now live in Gallus in Frankfurt. I am available to teach online or in person. While I will be studying German full time for the next 6 months, I am eager to start teaching English part-time. If you are interested, I can provide references from past schools and clients.

I am a very personable person who cares about my students as individuals. I am dedicated to helping my students reach their goals and enjoy facing challenges with them. My teaching style adapts to each student because I understand that people learn differently. People are my passion, and I love getting to know new people. My teaching philosophy is that everyone learns differently at their own pace. I aim to be sensitive to people's needs as a learner. I like to set goals with my students first and then make a plan to reach that goal. I typically teach by presenting a grammar topic and then balance it with new vocabulary and exercises to apply the new grammar and vocabulary. I am interested in what you are interested in!
