My expertise in Chemistry covers areas such as catalysis, reaction mechanisms, organic and inorganic chemistry, and materials science. I also have expertise in renewable energy, solid catalysts, hydrothermolysis of triglycerides, reaction conditions, and surface chemistry.
To support my Chemistry classes I use different resources and technologies to make lessons interesting and understandable such as visuals, videos, and daily life tasks related to chemistry.
When teaching Chemistry to students who may struggle with the subject, I focus on a few key strategies to make the concepts more approachable and relate to daily life tasks. I break down complex topics into smaller, more manageable chunks. Visual tools like diagrams, molecular models, and animations are incredibly helpful for illustrating concepts.
I have over ten years of laboratory experience.
When teaching organic chemistry, my approach focuses on building strong foundational understanding, encouraging active learning, and making real-world connections to engage students.
To help students prepare for chemistry competitions, college applications, or other academic opportunities, I mainly focus on basic knowledge and problem-solving skills while fostering a deeper passion for chemistry.
