أسئلة لك

Q: What areas of physics do you specialize in, and what level of physics do you usually teach?

I have a PhD in physics and I am used to teaching physics from secondary level to university level.

Q: How do you approach explaining complex physics concepts to students in a way that they can understand?

I believe the physics concepts that are taught in secondary school up until entry level of university are not that complex in itself, but they rather requiere a certain mental lense to look at them. So I figure out through questions how the students think about a topic and guide them mentally to different perspectives. Quite often I heard from various students of mine express in disbelief something similar as: "But that seems very easy!?"

Q: Do you have experience with students who struggle with physics, and how do you support them in their learning?

Yes, I teach students with very different levels of previous knowledge. This is no problem for me as I guide my lessons a lot through questions to the student to figure out what is already known and where the student struggles. We than build up bit by bit from ground to reach a solid foundation of understanding.

Q: How do you ensure that your physics lessons are aligned with the student's school curriculum or syllabus?

As I have an interactive class the student provide me the learning material they are working with and we follow their material.

Q: What is your teaching methodology and how do you structure your physics lessons to meet the needs of individual students?

As answered in the previous questions I have an interactive class. It's not just the student asking, but it's a conversation where I ask back. This way I figure out quickly where the individual student is struggling to help them in their actual pain points.

Q: Can you give examples of how you make physics interesting and engaging for students?

With the interactive classes that seem more like a conversation students have an easy time with me engaging with the topics. I don't just explain the concept but I relate it to everyday life and where we encounter these concepts (even though we may not be aware). My experience is that my students start enjoying physics, maths, and science overall.
