Hello! My name is Audrey 津兒 and I grew up bilingually, speaking both Cantonese and English since I was a child. I started learning German when I was 12, and have been speaking and actively using German for the past 4.5 years. I am currently majoring in Japanese Studies and psychology at the University of Vienna, Austria, and therefore, would prefer online lessons, as I am only in Hong Kong until March (for semester break).

I love learning languages and regularly teach English and Chinese every week in Vienna, using English and German as mediums of instruction. I take great joy in passing on my knowledge and love discovering new ways of thinking through teaching. My students often inspire me in ways I never thought possible.

Apart from university and tutoring, I enjoy painting, reading, and socializing with friends. I am currently learning French and Japanese and understand the difficulty of learning a different language. I have a good feel for languages and am confident in helping my students make connections between concepts to help them understand new knowledge better, instead of forcing them to memorize details. اقرأ أقل

I always encourage my students to pronounce and formulate sentences themselves, and help them build their own vocabulary through active participation.
