building a foundation is must for students. I started my teaching the concepts and allowing the student to do simple questions regarding the topic. This helped them build the foundation as well as the confidence to answer the questions. Afterwards, we attempt to do more complicated questions together. slowly increasing the difficulties and learning the techniques requried to answer the questions.

There are not certain topics I am particaularly skilled in as all are required to be a good teacher. I try to hone my skills despite the difference in difficulty between topics.
I provide a report regularly once every month to 2 month. This helps the parents be progress of the student as well as allow me to exaime the weakness of the student on a regular basis. After a certain period, we will revisit a topic to see if what we have learnt has sticked with students. It is not possible to learn 100% in the first try.

I will provide weekly assignments to the student. The student is requested to completed as much as possible. The questions that the student is unable to complete allows me to understand the gaps in his/her knowledge. This allows me to tailor the class to the students' needs.
Receiving feedback from the parents and student.
I have experience with learning diabilties, however, it is not extensive. The approach we took for learning was extending the class and being patient when they answer questions as they require longer to answer.
