Hi, I’m Kat! I have a deep and wide interest in the English language. Over the years, I’ve been recognized for my passion and talent—winning first place in Spoken Poetry and also being awarded first place during our parade of characters, where I portrayed La Muerte from The Book of Life.

I have experience teaching elementary students, and I’ve also gained professional exposure through my work immersion as a human resource assistant at a medical institution. These opportunities helped me develop not just my communication skills, but also my ability to connect with people of all ages.

I became a tutor simply because I love to teach. Sharing my knowledge and skills in English brings me so much joy—especially when I see my students improve and grow in confidence. I specialize in teaching proper pronunciation, grammar structure, public speaking, and helping students expand their vocabulary.

I aim to create a fun and encouraging learning environment. I’m an enthusiastic teacher because I want my students to enjoy each class. I motivate them to become the best version of themselves and help them learn how to learn—an essential skill for lifelong success.

Most importantly, I believe in being kind and patient. My classes are a safe space where students can make mistakes and learn from them without fear of judgment. I also teach Filipino (Tagalog), focusing on basic sentence structures and translating them from English, making it easier for beginners to understand and communicate.
