Hello,

My name is Ursula. I am a thirty year old Native English speaker from South Africa.
Growing up , I moved around a lot due to my parents doing a lot of expat work. I went on to finish my school career and then studied three years of performing arts. I am currently completing my Advanced Diploma in Child Psychology.
I have been living and teaching English in Vietnam for the past year and a bit. I also taught English in two African countries , namely : Zambia and Malawi.
The children I have taught range between the ages of two years old up to nineteen years old.
My approach to teaching is to have fun, be patient, observant and kind.

I am a teacher educator because I want to change the world. While I realize that what I hope to accomplish is limited, I know education is where I can have the greatest impact. I want my students to understand that the professional world they will inhabit, the school, is not immutable. As future teachers they can make a difference and their classrooms can be healthy, supportive environments in which their own students can grow and learn.
