I am a former international school student, born in Hong Kong and raised between Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science and Economics, I joined the Teach For America program—against the wishes of my parents, who had hoped I would pursue a career in finance—and taught a variety of subjects, including mathematics, chemistry, and biology. I also ran my school's after-school SAT tutoring program.

As an educator, my background is in high school special education and middle school general education. However, my greatest strength lies in my ability to help students understand their goals and determine how best to achieve them. I empathize with the high-pressure, results-oriented environment that students face, especially in Hong Kong, and I strive to approach all my lessons with this in mind.
