My name is Syed Hussain, I am a entering my third year of Bio-Medical science at the Universtiy of Guelph and I specialize in teaching biology, microbiolgy, genetics and physiology. I am located in Oakville Ontario. For me, the biological sciences are one of the most fascinating and engaging subjects to study, when approached correctly! I am a firm believer in the practise of active learning. It is one thing to passively articulate and feed subject matter to students. However, I believe the best results are seen when students are engaged with their work through a lens that emphasizes application and in turn, a genuine appreciation and engagement for the content they are learning.
