Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

We teach Mathematics through a clear, step by step methodology designed to build confidence, strengthen foundations, and help students genuinely understand what they’re learning. Every lesson is intentional, supportive, and tailored to the needs of each learner.

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

I have extensive experience with online teaching platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Webex teaching students from all over the world. My preferred method of communication is by email.

Q: What Math topics or concepts are you particularly skilled in teaching, and how do you keep up to date with changes in the curriculum?

I can teach any section in Grade 10 Mathematics, I keep up to date by regularly review the social media sites from the Department of Basic Education - Twitter and Facebook

Q: How do you communicate with parents about their child's progress and any challenges they may be facing in learning Math?

I communicate via regular progress reports and a Whatsapp channel, and by cellphone or face to face if necessary

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

I provide study guides, practice sessions, tutorials and past exam papers.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

I provide the students with practice questions, followd by an evaluation to make sure they understand it. Homework assignments are provided based on the students progress, which they scan and send back to me for evaluation.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure that your teaching approach is compatible with the student's learning style?

In the first lesson, I provide a learning style diagnostic form, to determine the student's learning styleThis is adapted into a student learning profile. Then I provide a parent friendly explanation, and I will adapt my style accordingly

Q: Do you have experience working with students with learning disabilities or special needs, and how do you adapt your teaching methods to accommodate their needs?

I have no experience in teaching children with learning disabilities or special needs.
