For years, I held what many would call a "secure" position as a physical therapist in the public health system. It was a noble profession, but one that—step by step—was slowly draining my energy. What began as a desire to heal my body gradually transformed into a deep frustration, fueled by bureaucracy and a rigid chain of command that I found suffocating.
My breaking point? The summer of 2012.
