Whether it's using universal indicators to show pH shifts during a titration or demonstrating gas laws, I make sure the student sees the science happening live. This multimodal approach encodes the knowledge far better than a textbook can
Organic chemistry is my specialty. Many students fail it because they try to rote-memorize every reaction. I teach it like a language and a puzzle. We focus heavily on understanding functional groups and why molecules behave the way they do based on their structure. Once a student understands the "grammar" of organic chemistry, the entire section becomes an easy, logical game rather than a memory test
I approach tutoring as academic coaching. I don't just teach the high school syllabus; I teach the standard expected at the university level.
