I am Adrian, a psychology undergraduate at University College London (UCL) in 2018. After graduating from UCL, I pursued a clinical psychology doctorate degree at Fuller University (Los Angeles, USA). However, I dropped out in mid-2019 and became an education consultant at top Hong Kong educational institutions, such as Capstone Education Prep and Assurance Education. Currently, I am based in Hong Kong and the UK and run my own education consulting company. With over 5 years of experience as a private tutor with my team, I have successfully aided students from various backgrounds in excelling in subjects such as IB Psychology, Economics, Chinese, Sciences etc.. In addition to private tuition, my role as an education consultant involves mentoring secondary school students to gain admission into prestigious universities in the UK (including Oxbridge) and the US (including Ivy League). As a result, I have developed and conducted classes on non-academic areas, including crafting personal statements for university applications, interview preparation, public speaking, presentation skills, and UCAS/Common App consultation. I am truly passionate about aiding students not only in achieving academic success but also in enhancing their communication and presentation abilities. My students appreciate my fun teaching style, which incorporates theoretical concepts and real-life applications, as well as my humorous and sociable nature. I am a strong advocate for more than simply spoon-feeding my students with theoretical information. I intentionally develop lessons that incorporate numerous real-life case scenarios to assist students in comprehending textbook material and digesting theoretical concepts.
