Very experienced and highly qualified (PhD, MA TESOL, University of Cambridge Diploma in ELT for Adults, etc.) English language teacher with over 25 years of experience in a broad range of contexts and countries, including England, Canada, Vietnam, France, Spain and Hong Kong.

Subjects taught include all English language skills, grammar, pronunciation, EAP, IELTS, social English, business English, thesis writing and customised language courses.

Over twenty years of experience at university level, plus experience in the private sector with a range of age groups.

Based in Kowoloon, though online teaching is currently preferred. I'm proficient with a range of online teaching platforms.

I follow a needs-based teaching approach, and I am very patient, friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable with a high level of educational expertise.

My teaching philosophy broadly follows a communicative approach with an emphasis on language and skills development through task-based activities. I aim to centralise student interactions within tasks that lead to the achievement of authentic, real-world objectives.
