Hello, my name is Yulia, and I am originally from Russia. I studied in China, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and also studied English as a second language. Recently, I completed another bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management at Hochschule München, where English was widely used during my studies. I have several years of international teaching experience. I worked as an English teacher in China for five years, and I have also taught in Russia and Germany. During this time, I worked with children and teenagers aged 5 to 18, both in schools and through private lessons. My lessons focus on improving speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and confidence in using English in everyday situations.

Here is your passionate teacher from Munich! I hold a Master degree in TEFL and Social Pedagogy from the Kyiv Teacher Training Institute of Foreign Languages and a Master degree in English Studies from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. My teaching experience includes delivering courses of General English to mixed age groups of learners of all levels, as well as conducting in-company courses of General and Business English, as well as exam preparation courses. In addition to working in the MVHS and several other language schools, I have a successful experience in one to one teaching. I always supplement my coursebooks with extra activities, such as reading and discussing articles, TED Talk watching and discussing, brainstorming, delivering presentations to encourage communication and my students’ active involvement in classroom work. I mainly teach English, ancient and modern Greek and the IT basics. I am based in Munich but due to the limited time, I prefer online teaching. What separated me from the other tutors is that I am always updated with the newest technology and I'm trying to introduce it to my students. Besides technology, my everyday language is English so I'm using a lot of idiomatic English which is really helpful for those who would like to reach a high level in the language.
