I've been teaching English in Hong Kong for over 14 years, and have lots of experience with teaching students aged from 4 to 18, and adults. I've taught primary and secondary students for the English Schools Foundation, and been a Visiting Lecturer at HK Polytechnic University, teaching the Graduate Diploma in Business English and English for Academic Studies. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield, UK, and an accredited TEFL certification. My name is Alan and I am a native speaker of English from Australia. I have traveled the world in my life and have a great understanding of many different cultures. Both of my daughters are also English high school teachers, with the eldest speaking 5 different languages and the younger one speaking 4 and teaching languages at her high school. My students will have the opportunity to visit South Korea with me for one day every 2 months, where available. My interests are golf and photography, and I am able to help students with these interests. I am Australian born and bred, but I am now residing in Vietnam where I offer my services to many underprivileged children for the betterment of their lives.
