He is the recipient of the EJ Pratt Medal In Poetry (2018) and the Avie Bennet Emerging Writers Award (2017). He has a passion for teaching and has spent the last two years working as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, Sebastien tutored extensively students of all ages.
