I've been inspiring a lot of my tutees since I was in junior highschool to love math and and train them until they can stand alone. Hi, I'm Miss Wong, also known as Mrs Rakhra. I'm an experienced and passionate mathematics tutor based in Hong Kong. I have been teaching maths since 2009, focusing mainly on secondary and high school maths, both the Hong Kong local and international school syllabuses. Edward is a 29 year old man from Accra, Ghana. I grew up with a phobia for mathematics but the introduction of one tutor in my 8th grade in Junior High School was the beginning of a new love affair with mathematics. Through the relation of complex math subjects to practical and everyday life situations, these subjects become easy to tackle and fun to solve. My love for math led me to pursuing Elective Math in Senior High School and to a math related programming for my undergraduate ie Economics. I am of the belief that my passion, exposure and history with the subject will enable me inculcate the love for math in my prospective students. Hello, my name is Roisin. I am a qualified secondary Mathematics teacher with over two years of experience in online tutoring. In addition to my Maths PGCE, I have a first-class Psychology degree from a Russell Group University and currently work as a Research Assistant. My degree in Psychology means that I have a broad knowledge of how learning occurs and methods to promote deeper understanding and long-term retention of information. I tutor for multiple companies and have helped many long-term and short-term students significantly improve their confidence and grades. My core belief when tutoring is that everyone can achieve; it's just the process that differs.
