I love teaching! I encourage students to question everything and make sure they have a conceptual and fundamental understanding of what they are learning. I make sure students build an intuition to solve problems and give them the confidence to do so. I believe learning is fun and there is nothing to be afraid of. Based on the individual student, I cater my teaching style to best suit them. Students perform well on exams after my guidance but most importantly gain an appreciation for the subject. Rather than by memorizing, I believe better results can be attained by grappling with concepts and plenty of practice.

I hold a master's degree in Mathematics from ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, which is ranked #7 of the top universities in the world. After a 23-year career as a teacher/instructor for math, I started my own tutoring business in New York. I offer in-person and online tuition in everything math for students from grade school to (under-) grad school.
