Hello, my name is Pooya! I was born in Teharn and am currently graduated from Concordia University in Building Engieering, and hold two Bachelors of Science with honours in physics and Mechanical Engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology. A diligent and hard-working student, I have always been enthusiastic about learning math and science, and am eager to help people better understand and appreciate these subjects. When not studying or tutoring, I enjoy driving and watching movies.

I am a very enthusiastic and determined individual. I am very bubbly and love sharing knowledge, keen on acquiring knowledge as well which means I have much to share. I pride myself in academic excellence because I believe that education is a tool that can change the world. I have a fantastic personality as well. I reside in Hatfield, Pretoria and specialize in tutoring Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

I am a flexible Toronto-based tutor who adapts to each student's learning style. I love seeing my students achieve their goals and improve. My main subject is Math, but I also teach Science, French, and English. I am also experienced with ADHD students. I also have experience teaching students how to skate, ski, ride bikes, and play sports.

I am currently studying chemical engineering at UCL and studied mathematics, physics, and chemistry at A level (achieving A*AA grades). My experience of studying maths and sciences has to lead me to experiment with learning techniques and develop effective ways to be successful in such subjects. For this reason, I will be offering lessons in maths, chemistry physics and biology. I have experience working with young people in my role in visitor engagement in a science museum. In this role, I have developed my ability to connect with people and help them to understand tough concepts in a way that makes science and mathematics as awe-inspiring and exciting as it should be.

I've tutored online for 6 years, over 3 continents, teaching 5 syllabuses (IGCSE, AS, A-Levels, CAPS, IEB). I've had great results from students working both one on one and in group classes.
