The most successful learning happens when the lesson knowledge is delivered at the point in time when it is most needed. So, working out what is needed and then having a mini lesson is most useful lesson for new language learners. Diagnosing issues with written English or grammar and learning about it on the spot is the most successful way to learn grammar.
