I would begin by setting clear expectations and guidelines for online participation, including communication protocols and technology requirements. I would design my online courses using a combination of asynchronous and synchronous methods. To keep students engaged and motivated, I would use a variety of teaching strategies, including gamification, collaborative learning, and project-based learning.
