I only give homework assignments if necessary. If our sessions is just once a week, I give a small amount of homework. I make sure that they understand the lesson before I give an assignment.

I observe whether they respond better to visuals, step-by-step explanations, or hands-on practice. Then, I adapt my teaching approach based on what works best for them. I don't have yet experience with students with learning disability or special needs. If I do, I will definitely adapt teaching styles based on their needs. I'll do some research to better understand their situation.
