I'm Sean (25), a friendly and passionate English and Humanities tutor from the United Kingdom. I recently graduated from two top British Universities and have extensive knowledge of the UK academic system, both at the university and school levels. I am looking to tutor students at any educational level, although I have particular experience in tutoring prospective and current university students in English and the humanities, as well as improving and sharpening the grammar and spoken English of non-native English speakers. I graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies with a Masters in Anthropology in 2022 and from University College London (UCL) in Politics, Sociology, and East European Studies in 2020. Both of these degrees were quite interdisciplinary, and as such, I gained insight into the specific styles and discourses of a number of different academic disciplines. Therefore, I have had success in guiding Hong Kongers in their applications and transitions to undergraduate life in the United Kingdom, particularly with the sharpening of both written and spoken English. I am available to teach at your home anywhere in the New Territories, Kowloon, or Hong Kong Island. I am also available for online tutoring, although results are usually much better in person.

Hello, my name is Alice. I am an Australian born Chinese. I have been residing in Hong Kong since 2011. I am a Master graduate with a major in Art and professional practice. During my study, I have been teaching exchange students from overseas privately. Mainly focusing on day-to-day conversations (which is my best area), oral exam preparations, listening and creative writing. A lot of students are very good in writing and listening because schools have trained them to be able to read and write during exams. But when it comes to speaking, kids usually have a lack in confidence, so I have been teaching them how to speak confidently and to conquer their shyness in front of native speakers.
