Hello, my name is Teacher Paul. I come from England and have been teaching in Thailand for over 10 years. I am married to a Thai national, and we have a bilingual son. We live in Khon Kaen. I teach Business English and conversation, as well as phonics and basic English to young learners. I have taught English, Maths, Science, and PE to students from Grades 1 to 10 in various schools.

I have a Master of Arts in Visual Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. I am also a TEFL 120-hour premier qualified teacher. I was born and raised in Canada and subsequently lived for 15 years in Britain, therefore I can help you with British English as well as American English. I teach children as well as adults, working from phonics all the way to business English. I am from Yorkshire, a county in the north of England known for its Roman and Viking heritage. At 18, I moved to Warwick in the heart of England to study Physics. Then, I moved even further south, to London. During my PhD in Geoscience in London, I started tutoring science privately. After completing my PhD, I lectured for 1 year at University College London. In 2020, I moved to Potsdam, where I spent 2 years as a researcher at the Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum GFZ. In 2023, I began to return to teaching. Currently, I teach English and Yoga in Potsdam. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and helping them build confidence in English.
